The Love Hearts collection from MUA is already available in stores and I have been lusting after some of those nail polish shades for a while now. The pastel colours are perfect for Spring and MUA are a great, reliable brand. Underneath were some cosmetics from Accessorize (the jewellery/accessories store).
These are merged blushers from the brand Fashionista. They will be available in stores from May and are priced at £4 each. I swatched these whilst at the event and although the colours are pretty, the swatches did disappear from the back of my hand after an hour or so.
After browsing for a short time I noticed some girls giving manicures to attendees at the event. I looked at the polishes they were using and decided straight away I had to have my nails done!
After getting my nails done I spotted the gorgeous Kaushal from Beauty Fulfilled - a blog which I have been reading for such a long time! She gave me a lovely warm hug and was so friendly and full of smiles. Kaushal was at the event as a representative from Glam Republic for a very exciting product - applique eyeliners!
These are available in single or duo packs at a price of £4.99 or £9.99 respectively. They come in three varieties, matte, velvet or sparkle. Kaushal offered me a pair of velvet appliques, which I cannot wait to try out as I am useless when it comes to applying liquid liner!
There were many other exciting brands and products but I didn't get photographs of all the stands. One stand which is always very popular in Superdrug stores is Sleek. They also had a stand at the event and were showcasing their newest releases such as the Blush by 3 compacts and Face Form compacts.
As I left the event, I was given a bag filled with goodies from some of the brands at the event. This was a generous and unexpected gift and I can't wait to try all of the products out and write up some exciting reviews for you! The event was well organised and there was something for everyone to enjoy there. The representatives were all friendly and helpful and the staff at the Haymarket Hotel were wonderful. A great success from Superdrug and the girls at ZPR!
I went for a lovely meal with Saman and Tanzina in Covent Garden at a restaurant called "Dishoom" (located next to Jamie Oliver's restaurant). The menu is a variety of Indian street foods and cuisine with a twist. I am not a huge fan of Indian food but I LOVED this place! If you ever get a chance or are around Covent Garden, do give this place a try, the atmosphere is quirky and cool and the food is delicious.
Love the "She" and "He" signs on the restroom doors!
